Before having my own kiddo, I was a nanny for a number of families for the past 15 years or so. If there's one thing I know, it's how to entertain tiny humans! As a nanny I always loved coming up with projects and adventures to do with my littles, the type of activities that were so fun you didn't realize you were learning.
Now as a busy mom to a mobile tornado on two feet, I know how difficult it can be to plan dinner, squeeze in a workout, or let's be honest here, even shower each day, let alone plan out engaging educational activities for your kids.
Luckily I have all those years of nannying experience to give me a head start and I decided to create Operation Smartypants, not only as a way to encourage myself to consistently plan activities for Connor, but to help busy, overwhelmed moms and dads add a little structure to their lives and in turn make coming up with amazing toddler activities a walk in the park-- sometimes literally.
It is my goal with Operation Smartypants to spark ideas, add structure to your day, and cultivate that curiosity that's so amazing in children at this age.
